Tenuta di Sesta Rosso di Montalcino 2022 is a vibrant Tuscan red produced by the historic Tenuta di Sesta estate, a family-run winery in the southern part of Montalcino with winemaking roots dating back to the 19th century. The estate is recognized for its traditional approach and commitment to expressing the authentic terroir of the region.

Often described as the younger sibling of Brunello, Rosso di Montalcino offers the elegance and structure of Brunello wines while presenting a fresher and more approachable style suitable for earlier enjoyment.

The 2022 vintage is crafted primarily from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown at elevations of around 280–350 meters above sea level. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks followed by ageing in large Slavonian oak barrels and additional bottle refinement, enhancing complexity while maintaining bright fruit character.

The result is an elegant wine with vibrant red fruit aromas, subtle spice, and refined tannins that reflect the classic style of Montalcino.
