Tenuta Sant'Antonio Antonio Castagnedi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2016 is the flagship Amarone of the Castagnedi family, dedicated to their father, Antonio Castagnedi. Produced only from the finest hand-selected grapes grown in the hills of eastern Valpolicella, this wine embodies the family's philosophy of combining traditional Amarone craftsmanship with elegance, freshness, and exceptional drinkability. The vineyards are situated around 300 metres above sea level on fossil-rich limestone, sandy, and silty soils, providing ideal conditions for producing grapes of outstanding concentration and aromatic complexity.

Crafted from 70% Corvina & Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 5% Croatina, and 5% Oseleta, the grapes undergo a traditional appassimento process for approximately three months, naturally concentrating sugars and flavours. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before spontaneous malolactic fermentation in new 500-litre French oak barrels. The wine is then matured for 24 months in French oak and an additional 8 months in bottle, resulting in an Amarone that is rich, refined, and beautifully balanced with remarkable ageing potential.
