Tenuta Sant’Antonio Campo dei Gigli Amarone della Valpolicella 2018 is a prestigious Italian red wine produced from grapes grown in the Monti Garbi area of Valpolicella. The estate's historic Campo dei Gigli vineyard produces a structured and expressive Amarone characterized by concentrated fruit, mineral depth and pronounced spice.
The grapes undergo careful selection and approximately three months of drying before fermentation. The wine is then matured in oak tonneaux, developing additional complexity while preserving the character of the fruit and terroir. The 2018 vintage is noted for its combination of concentration, structure and elegant, silky texture.
The 750ml bottle is well suited to fine dining, special occasions, premium gifting and pairing with rich meat dishes and mature cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep ruby red with garnet and purple reflections.

Nose:
Intense and complex with wild berries, ripe cherry and sour cherry, complemented by dried plum, vanilla, liquorice, black pepper, tobacco, spices and subtle woody and mineral notes.

Palate:
Full-bodied, powerful and well balanced, with concentrated ripe fruit, refined tannins and a deep mineral character. Layers of spice, liquorice, chocolate and subtle balsamic notes provide additional complexity.

Finish:
Long, persistent and warming with lingering ripe fruit, spice, liquorice, tobacco and chocolate notes.
