THE STORY OF THE SPANIARD Compass Box

This malt whisky blend, first released in 2018, showcases whiskies aged in Spanish wine casks. Inspired by an eponymously named bespoke whisky we created for a bar in New York City called The Spaniard, we decided to explore the sherried style further to create a whisky for our permanent range.

Sherry casks. A full, sumptuous style.

FLAVOUR PROFILE: Notes of citrus peel, red wine and spices. A long finish, with hints of vanilla panna cotta, berries and cherries.

SERVING RECOMMENDATIONS: Ideal for late evening sipping, served on its own, with a large ice cube, or splash of water. Serve in a wine glass as a nod to the Spanish wine cask maturation!
