Woodford Reserve® Master Collection Batch Proof 700ml

Woodford Reserve® Master Collection Batch Proof is a limited-edition, high-proof expression from Woodford Reserve’s prestigious Master’s Collection, created to showcase the character of the bourbon at its natural batch strength.

Batch Proof is produced using the same grain bill and production process as Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The key distinction is that barrels are blended into a batch and the whiskey is then bottled at its actual proof straight from the barrel, without being reduced to the standard 90.4 proof. This allows the concentrated character of the bourbon to come through with greater intensity and depth.

The 2025 edition is presented at 119.5 proof (59.75% ABV) and showcases Woodford Reserve's characteristic combination of sweet vanilla and toasted oak in a more powerful, concentrated form.

Tasting Notes

Colour:
Deep amber with rich copper and russet highlights.

Nose:
Peanut butter toffee cookie, dried fruit, vanilla and cinnamon spice.

Palate / Taste:
Rich and creamy, with sorghum butter, clove and nutmeg complemented by the concentrated sweetness and oak character of the bourbon.

Finish:
Long and persistent, with a dry berry medley and lingering spice.
