Woodstock Deep Sands Shiraz 2022 is a rich and expressive Australian Shiraz from McLaren Vale, South Australia, sourced from the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs. The region's deep sandy terrain and moderate microclimate help produce Shiraz with generous fruit character, aromatic intensity and elegant structure.
The 2022 vintage delivers a full-bodied and opulent style, showcasing ripe blackberry, dark plum, black cherry and liquorice flavours supported by earthy spice, white pepper and subtle oak characters. Softly structured tannins and balanced freshness provide definition to the rich fruit profile.
The wine is fermented on skins for a minimum of five days before being pressed and matured primarily in stainless steel tanks, with a portion aged in second- and third-use oak for up to 12 months.

Colour:
Deep, dense crimson to dark red with an inky black core.

Nose:
Rich and expressive with ripe blackberry, dark plum, black cherry and liquorice aromas, accompanied by smoky vanilla oak, pepper and earthy spice.

Palate:
Full-bodied, rich and lush with generous blackberry, dark plum, black cherry and liquorice flavours. Mocha, vanilla spice, white pepper and earthy notes add complexity, while ripe, slightly chewy tannins provide structure.

Long, opulent and robust with lingering dark fruit, liquorice, vanilla spice, pepper and earthy notes.
