The Yamazaki 18 Year Old is one of Suntory’s most celebrated and award-winning single malts, crafted at Japan’s oldest whisky distillery. Around 80% of this exquisite whisky is matured in sherry butts, with the remainder aged in American oak and rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The result is a rich, complex marriage of fruit, oak, and subtle smoke — a whisky that has earned global acclaim for its depth and refinement.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of truffles, bitter marmalade, resin, potpourri, and heavy Oloroso sherry influence.

Palate: Deep and bittersweet with notes of heather root, cigar leaf, honey, toffee apple, plum wine, and black pepper, with a hint of rancio.

Finish: Long, elegant, and fruity, led by marmalade sweetness.
