Yangarra Estate Blanc 2022 750ml

Yangarra Estate Blanc 2022 is a vibrant Rhône-style white blend from Yangarra Estate's single-vineyard property in Blewitt Springs at the northern edge of McLaren Vale. The wine brings together six traditional southern Rhône varieties, led by Grenache Blanc, to create a fresh, textured and mineral-driven expression of Yangarra's cool-climate Mediterranean environment.

The 2022 vintage combines ripe orchard fruit with bright tangerine acidity, chalky texture and subtle savoury complexity. The Grenache Blanc was pressed to tank, while the other varieties were hand-picked and basket-pressed before fermentation in older French oak hogsheads and barriques. The wine was matured on lees for six months before blending, preserving freshness while adding depth and texture.

Pale straw yellow with bright youthful highlights.

Nose:

Expressive aromas of pear and apple with almond meal, subtle aniseed, white pepper and delicate spice.

Palate:

Juicy and textural, with white-fleshed fruit, vibrant tangerine acidity and a distinctive chalky mineral character.

Finish:

Long and refreshing, with lingering lemon peel, subtle nuttiness, saline-mineral notes and bright citrus acidity.
